  • Good morning all.

Thanks to everyone for the DTD advice. I normally have no trouble with it, but RL is hectic at the mo (in a good way) and I'd lost my mojo a bit. Now I have all the sayings I need.

Did anyone get anything in the Cath Kidston sale? Not much left now but worth a look, sorry if already mentioned. Half price changing bags down to £30 and some nice kids bits. Please thank the OP on Grabbit.

I've just checked a receipt from yesterday afternoon and have come across this comparison:

    A's Chosen By You Bombay Potato (400g) A: 77p, T: 5p

So, unless it was a one off yesterday, it looks to me like there are 400g cans of Bombay Potato to be had for 5p!

'fraid I can't check it out further myself as I'm away on hols at the moment and won't be near an A's again for another week.

    Sorry to hear this Helen.
I've got the point with T that its no longer worth doing a targeted shop. The comparisons don't shop correctly and the PPs take an age to come through if ever. Still waiting for mine since last weekend, despite being resubmitted. A gets my money now

It's silly isn't it, I think I will email Tesco and see what happens.

OH has returned from the loft with granny's diaries....I still write a diary ever day and have done since I was 11:o

the cousin was called Morna.....and the last letter granny sent her was in 1971:( .....she never got one single reply and she gave up. But in her diaries for years after she mentioned Morna in her prayers. I might go and look tomorrow.....there are ways now to find people that didnt exist before

I am really surprised at how much this has touched me :o.....I haven't alot of family history to go on. my dad was adopted through non legitimate channels as a baby ( war baby) .......I'd like to find out any part if where I come from, if I can

QPR and murtle (sp) are the ones to point you in the right direction. hth
