Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Just my tuppence worth, I wouldnt judge people on here, I see so much ill done to people done everyday that the stuff going on here is really small play.
My dad had a grocers shop when the supermarkets (and VAT) came in and turfed them all out of their shops and in our case our homes. Fair play to getting one back on the big boys, we will not be putting them under anytime soon.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

I only caught up after the event. I guess you may come across as someone who can take it in your stride and deal with it :o.....maybe you have a more sensitive side to you. I for one would miss you if you lurked......even if you did leave me out if your goodnight to the night shift the other night:p:D
  • How long did it take you to do all that scanning?

Patty I found the scanning really easy. I have a samsung tablet so just clicked the offers included on receipt, it takes you straight to camera function, take photo and hit send. I believe it is the same on I phones and I pads but not tried on my phone yet. I was lucky that I had 2x fosters and 2x strongbow on one womble so was easiest £10 there.

Thank you I do feel better for sharing, I have had mixed feelings...times when I have felt quite glad to have gotten one over on them and times when I have felt like I should have gone back and paid, I was going to say admit my mistake, but it was also their mistake for not realizing too.
I have been badly treated by them in the past and would like to also add that I have a similar thing recently that has happened with john lewis.
Another story coming your way. I bought one of the Celia Birtwell reduced buggies from john lewis last Jan and it was lovely, until it broke on me in Nov. A small bolt came off while she was in it and was lost. I had only paid £42 for it, but they kindly offered me a replacement one worth, their lowest similar, £79 and it was delivered really quick. Now only a few months on this one has broke, not me I promise! This time some plastic snapped near the leg adjuster, with her in it again. I phoned again and was offered either £79 off another or a refund. After having a good look I decided on a refund as some a bit overpriced. They then realize that back in Nov I had been refunded £37, the extra amount for the £79 buggy. I had no idea, as at the time I used OH card. They have now picked up the broken buggy, which strangely they also don't sell anymore and are refunding me £79, they had to write off the other £37. When I receive the refund I will phone them and pay them the £37 as they have treated me fairly and I will do the same.

Again not your fault darling - wonder how many times we have all been overcharged in shops.....the shopkeeper never runs after us to tell us:o

Really? I haven't kept up fully with todays posts but the only one I saw was from SFSB and that was completely tongue in cheek as I read it. Just the usual good humoured banter:D

the fact you're mulling over it shows you are a decent person. I posted recently about a boob I made using an APG in Ts without realising ( when they weren't taking them) I felt bad and posted here about it. Someone else had done something similar and felt bad, but reassured me. The fact it's bothering you says everything!:).....you didn't go in there to screw anyone over ......you've got it off your chest now. I'd leave it at that . you got some free shopping.......every single person here has had free shopping, one way or another :D:) xx
