They probably won't even be aware, they were more intent on not letting you use a voucher.

just an afterthought, how did u get a receipt, are you sure you didn't pay??

The cs lady gave me the receipt that says recalled transaction on it.

Sorry had to go see to kids.

I went for a normal shop, picked up whoopsies, spent more than usual as needed quite a bit and shopping came to about £95. I had picked up twenty five of the small packets of ariel stain remover at 69p (this was the first time I had seen them and last day to use the £1.50 coupon, so thought I'd try my luck) was hoping to get quite a bit off my shopping from those. Picked youngest SA I could. She tries scanning first coupon and wouldn't work, probably because the coupon was worth more than the product. She calls over supervisor and I sigh as I now know I will most likely not get any extra off my shopping.

Supervisor says recall transaction and sort it at cs. Off we go to cs and she leaves me there with the cs staff. After some faffing around at cs trying to ring person from dept etc..another member of staff comes along and has a look and says, oh these coupons are only one per transaction. All this had taken a while and what happened next I have to say my mind was not there, as OH had taken kids to car and I was tired. I have since gone over this in my mind over and over and had sleepless nights.
The cs lady opened her till gave me £1.50 and my receipt. And I walked out. It wasn't until much later that I realized that I had not infact paid for my shopping. Now I had the dillema of going back and as it was a cs lady that I had had two large dtds with, I was just too scared. I also read lots of stories about the way they treat normal people that they believe shoplifted on purpose. Innocent people that had forgot to pay and offered, were not treated nicely. I am not in anyway trying to justify my decision not to go back. I am merely giving my reasons.

I was not going to post this at all, as some would say karma will get me for it, and some may say it was karma for me, for all the times I had been overcharged and not known or whatever. I think it may be months before I step in there again. And there it is. Please no moral arguments and please don't slate me.

No slating required, 25 of the stain thingys..nice one, fair play to you :T

I tried with one of these early on in the promotion, got trouted, gave up.

If it's any consolation to you I also would not have gone back. In fact I would have skipped around with an inane grin on my face for the next week or two. So shoot me. :D

Have I missed summit- do you dress up as a barmaid? Flip me man you are going down hill:D

Have you not been keeping up Patty? The barmaid kit is one of his more demure oufits. Now the thigh length boots/transvestite gear is a sight to behold:eek:. Just ask QPR, as they saw him at a recent Hartlepool home game (footy) :rotfl::rotfl:

very honest of you to post this :T thanks for sharing. I have no judgement one way or the other......the truth is who knows what any of us would do in that situation? None of us are here to judge anyone else.

I too hope it doesn't start moral arguments. And I sincerely hope no one would slate you. I do hope you feel better for sharing/getting it off your chest :)
