evening all hope all the elite are well speacil big hugs to logie you are so inspirational dont let any one get you down xx

last night my ds2 and dh were telling us they saw somthing travelling quickly across the sky and it may have been the metor, when we heard this very loud rumbling , roaring noise getting louder everyone run outside looked up to see a yellow glow then realised ....... the chimney was on fire:eek::eek:
bits started falling on to the carpet and huge flames out the top, luckily we live in a flat roofed bungalow so dh and ds2 went on roof with hose and managed to put it out, but i had a flooded lounge and everything covered in soot has took all day to clean..

we can laugh about it now espeacily us all thinking it was a bit of the metor..:rotfl:but could have been dangerous, we usually sweep the chimney every 6 months but missed the last time am so cross with myself espeacily as i made my dd get hers done recently so anyone else with a coal fire dont forget to get it sweeped regularly

redfox I'm :j jumping with joy...is it wrong silly me is soooooooooooo excited to see a 'normal' non-mod type post from you, silly silly me:o

Savvybuyer I am:mad::mad::mad: with t's too and yes 3 lots of angry faces, not one, 1 would not do justice to the level of my anger...they really have lost my custom!

I decided about 6months ago, not to do a single full weekly shop there...due to the poor service T's have given me over the last yr, its appalling if I gave out details to you all, you would be shocked and I am not so hard to please! They suck in every dept...electrical, t.direct desk, tills and c/s on phone too...I vowed I will not do my full shop there and I'm managing great... pop to Sada of course to do me apg's, get all my t's offers that way, only ever do glitch buys at t's and i have started to go to my local smaller shops more, for fruit and meat. I say we all try this, boy cott T's...not completely but give them as little of our £'s as possible I say:)
