Christmas cards were out again at T's, and with a greatly reduced SEL.

10 packs of T's charity cards, now 16p

For some reason over Christmas, they were selling green or red pom poms to decorate your tree with!! Loads of those out this evening, heavily reduced too, but red could be useful if you have to dress children in some sort of fancy dress for Red Nose Day?

    Evening all

Been to pick up OHs ebay stuff and saved £10 postage ;)

Took my youngest with me and went to Ts on the way home. He was hungry so I said he could have something from the chippy as a treat for being good in Ts ( he's not usually:cool:)

In the chippy he was looking at the menu and asked me what a battered sausage was. I told him it was a normal sausage but with batter on...like a fish. So he decided on that and spent the journey home telling me how delicious it was.

When he got in he couldn't wait to tell everyone else not only that he'd had tea from a chippy but that he'd had a 'sausage covered in fish skin' :rotfl::rotfl:

Logie hope you had a fab night. Your are always so positive and inspiring.

So pleased to hear about Alfie too - I work in a vets and know how long it takes for some dogs to recover after such serious surgery. He sounds like he's doing amazing!

I think I've found something worth buying for fruit juice.
trop50 is a new drinks range by tropicana (apple juice, orange juice with bits 1litre etc).

sold in T as 2 for £3. In the T Real Food mag on page 6, use 2 x 50p mocs. T&Cs state "one coupon per product" :D

Then scan your receipt to quidco clicksnap to get a further 50p back.

Overall cost is £1.50 for 2 litres. Not quite as cheap as Don Simon though :p

EDIT: I've just seen that ocado and waitrose are cheaper than T (£1.14 and £1.52 respectively) but unfortunately T don't compare their pp to ocado or Waitrose boo hoo

    Afternoon all,

    Rant alert!

Feeling a bit down today :( Went shopping this morning with my mum. Decided to wear my wig instead of usual hat to cover my head as I need to get used to wearing it more. I'm off out for a meal with some mummy friends this evening and not sure a bobble hat will look quite right in a fancy restaurant :o Well I felt really stupid in the wig, as if everyone was looking at me funny :( It looks really obvious to me that it's not my real hair and i've gone quite pale recently aswell so colour looks a little dark.

Wanted to treat myself to a new top aswell but steroids have made me put on quite a lot of weight already and ended up having to buy one a bigger size :( Should stop being so ridiculous and vain but have had a good cry about it since getting home :o

My mum did buy me some lovely flowers though to try and cheer me up :)

Off back now to catch up. Hopefully the antics of the night shift will put a smile on my face

Logie, always remember that it is the person within that matters. Hugs
