  • I went to T whoopsie shopping and it was a waste of time re: food. Only managed a pack of mini pitta bread for 20p. However, I got quite a bit of reduced Xmas gift ribbons and packets of party invites. will post them up now.

Red pack/silver/gold all reduced down to SEL of 12p but goes through at 4p - bc 2072

    Evening paw sniffers,

Had a lovely lunch out with DS today. I love his big bear hugs:)

Vouchers from T for £2 off a £8 spend on cleaning stuff. So will have to start planning how to spend it.

No beans for me. I scanned them at the SS and they were£3.60. Told the SA I'd picked them up by mistake as I really wanted the low salt ones. As if:)
Visited A at Thorna&y. What a strange place . I couldn't find the way in. Gave up and ended up at Portrack lane. Haven't been there for years. Where has Dickens gone?:)

Off to pour myself a JD and coke. Anyone want to join me:)

It really must be a long time since you were there TM as even I can't even remember how long ago it was that Dickens closed:rotfl:
Must be at least 15 years ago!

I've had more luck with A tonight - although perhaps I'm subconciously biased against T often. My 'over £15' APG was simply scanned and not queried. No Ms Trouty Stern-McTrout like the one at T this p.m. Also horrendous busy Sat. afternoon shopping, and didn't mention on here before about me turning into the parking space on T's car park and - bang! - into the post in front of the space:mad:. I don't like T's for that reason as well today. Fortunately just a light scratch if anything at all - and my car has seen better days before anyway.

At A's, no query at all - I decided and chose an SA who wasn't too young-looking and likely to shout out around to her colleagues (ideally would have chosen a young man) but not too mature enough to be experienced and with in-depth knowledge of every nook and cranny of the T&Cs 2005 to date. Fingers crossed on the Potatoes&Butter and the S&Gs. No £2 gift card for me tonight - the store had the correct price - 20p - on the Freddo and the Fudges. I can however hardly complain when they get the price on the SEL correct though!

I think that's because you've bought 1 of each. Had you bought, for example, 2 of the Chocolate Fudge Brownie, or 2 of the Clover Lighter, I suspect an N/A would now result as the APG no longer appears to recognise competitor BOGOFs when more than 1 of the same item is bought - this was introduced after the glitching 3 for 2s last year. Apparently, it doesn't allow a fair comparison to be made as it is difficult for MSM to compare it:rotfl:- but no difficulty for MSM, and a fair comparison it seems, when two different items are mixed* - though that would seem to me to be more difficult for a system to get right!

*I'm being a tad cynical here.
