As I'm sat typing I've got my son's pet rats sat on my shoulders and they are watching the screen:) Probably looking for pictures of cats.:p

Hugs to all who need them.

I need to nominate myself as bad auntie :-(

I was in Asda going straight for the flumps and my lovely 9 year old nephew was there with his *^*^* of a mum. She's trying to move away and take him away from all of his family and all the support he needs. She's only doing it for a bloke, it's not for the best reasons at all. It's Jeremy Kyle worthy, it really is

Anyway, he was asking if he could have sweets and she told him no. And there's me picking up sweets!

I stole lots of cuddles with him ( I should rent his cuddles out, they are the best :D )

But how mean is that, me buying sweets and not offering to buy any for him?!

My mum always buys her meat like that from local butchers, even when we were small ahemmmm about 40 odd years ago, bought a whole pig, whole lamb and fore quater of cow, and they knew how she wanted it cut and bags it for her too

We used to do this when we were a bit flush some months ;)My late DH would stop of at the farm on the way home and get a whole Lamb.Nothing tastes so nice as good ol home grown English Lamb with home made mint sauce :Tthose were the days we knew what we were eating back then

Time to turn off my lappy and say Goodnight all enjoy your evening

I am not vegetarian but not particularly keen on knowing my animal /meat by name either ... :(.

Of course, all they need to do is put Meat (rather than beef or what type) on the label and they are then legal ;). After all, they keep stressing it is a food labelling rather than food safety issue.
