You are right FloFlo...however what I meant to say here way...the lamb she had just bought, indeed was lamb...they had the whole carcasses there with the correct stamps etc on them (I had to leave the butchers shop when she was picking the carcass and checking out the certification, I felt faint:o), she decided to buy half a lamb, they then in front of her cut the fat off it and gave her all the meat, cut exactly as she had asked, she got ribs, steaks an inch thinck 7 of them, if i remember right and took the shoulder whole to roast, and yes had the leg boned and cut into small cubes...her butchers do it right in front of customers and this particular woman...watched them all the way whilst they cut up her half lamb to her exact specification, I could not watch, too squeamish I am, but makes me think, this might be the way forward
We bought one about 6 months or so ago worked out at £4/kg for a full one chopped up of course and in bags.
Loads of fat but delish would/ could not pay the prices they charge in the shops.
Sheep/lamb is dirt cheap at the moment at the marts

Yes I remember they had a big chest freezer (all the rage in the 70s apparently) Think there was a some space left over for a few loaves of bread :rotfl:

s and g and new potatoes compared favourably at 4.30 yesterday. Had a trip to a different store - obviously other mse there as last pots and deo on shelf! Was that you vanilla twist? Going to try canterbury today! Bought smart price 9v battery and smart peaches which both came up n/a for info.

No not me, I don't do the s+g and not done the pots this time round yet.
Mullers have taken a battering but thats all for the last couple of weeks.
Not been narbriac either I don't think as she has been on nights.
To be honest I don't think we have much in the way of lurkers in our A's and our T's only has them for the wine deals.
