I think you are right that choosing meat from respected butchers and seeing meat cut up in front of you is probably the best option we have - problem is price. I suppose if everything else is glitched then paying more for meat wouldn't be too bad.
Saw some sheep in a roadside field near where I live which I think are owned by gypies. The field looked like pure mud, no grass whatsoever. Surely that shouldnt be allowed0 -

My mum always buys her meat like that from local butchers, even when we were small ahemmmm about 40 odd years ago, bought a whole pig, whole lamb and fore quater of cow, and they knew how she wanted it cut and bags it for her too
My mum still always get the meat for Christmas at her local butchers . Tastes so much better.;)
Yes I think this is the way forward, but dont think I will be buying a whole pig :rotfl:0
