Or keeping a small herd yourself :p

I think you are right that choosing meat from respected butchers and seeing meat cut up in front of you is probably the best option we have - problem is price. I suppose if everything else is glitched then paying more for meat wouldn't be too bad.

Saw some sheep in a roadside field near where I live which I think are owned by gypies. The field looked like pure mud, no grass whatsoever. Surely that shouldnt be allowed :(

    So sorry I haven't caught up :(
Madmuppet happy birthday :bdaycake:I hope you've had a lovely day.

I popped to T's earlier and found birthday party invites and packs of small thank you cards and other notelets down to 37p. Didn't need any but bought some anyway:o
As I'm sat typing I've got my son's pet rats sat on my shoulders and they are watching the screen:) Probably looking for pictures of cats.:p

Hugs to all who need them.

  • USPS are a joke. I don't think I'll ever complain about Royal Mail again. My package was posted on the 6th!

My mum always buys her meat like that from local butchers, even when we were small ahemmmm about 40 odd years ago, bought a whole pig, whole lamb and fore quater of cow, and they knew how she wanted it cut and bags it for her too
I remember my dad buying whole pigs from farms on his way home from work. We were a family of 8 so soon got used up.

My mum still always get the meat for Christmas at her local butchers . Tastes so much better.;)
Yes I think this is the way forward, but dont think I will be buying a whole pig :rotfl:
