HI QPR10.
Simon Calder was on BBC breakfast this morning talking about this, there are only 80 odd post offices in the country you can get one from. He spoke to the Florida authorities yesterday and was told they aren't going to enforce the law on this. (Apparently they wanted to ensure all driving docs were in English, completely ignoring the fact that UK, Australian, Canadian etc docs WERE in English - muppets  !!!! ) (No offence Mad - and happy birthday!)
I think I'd pop along to the right post office though with my £5.50, driving licence and other id such as passport, just to be on the safe side ! Peeps have been being turned away because they didn't have them. In the words of Dr Sheldon Cooper, "What fresh hell is this?
Thank you we were watching Sky News about Michael Leveil (Kevin Webster) we do usually watch the BBC Breakfast will see if its on iplayer0 -

Morning all
A very Happy Birthday to Mad _party_ _party_
Hope you have a great day
Off work now 'til Tuesday :j Looking forward to spending a whole weekend with OH and DD, something that doesn't happen very often unfortunately. It's looking like it might be a nice day so we're going to head for a walk round the canal and feed the ducks soon....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
PRIDE
There's a fork in the road, which way will you go
You standing still or will you step into the great unknown,
Is yours to decide, this is your life.

Morning all
Had lots of lovely plans for today now i'm safe to venture out....
DS1 has woken though with a streaming nose and cough so all plans cancelledNow just have to pray he ignores all of my previous discussions with him about sharing
On the plus side, my efforts with the housework over the last week have finally paid off. After a quick half hour blitz this morning everywhere is respectable so can actually relax a littleAlready on 3rd cuppa this morning
Like the idea of the massage Morgy. I got given some vouchers for the local beauty salon after the girls at work did a collection to show they were thinking of me. Might see what they offerReally looking forward to being able to go swimming too. Daft how you miss things as soon as you're told you can't do them.
Hi Logie - hope you manage to avoid the cold! Strange but this last year has been the first year I have never got a cold, yes I haven't been working and at home a lot but I still went to supermarkets (blame APG glitch for enticing me) and walked kids to school, and they came home with bugs. So either no stress from work or the flu jab (first time I've had one) either way I am very thankful. So fingers crossed it will be the same for you.
What a lovely present from your friends - you will enjoy it.
There is a Mcmillan place at Jimmy's and they offer therapeutic treatments, approx 10 per person - but I didn't use it at time of chemo (summer hols and kids etc). Nice to use now as treatment stopped. Do you have one near you or where you have your treatment? I only ask as their masseurs are very used to different treatments and issues - if not might be worth just checking if any special things for beauty salon to take into account with Mcmillan therapist by telephone then you can let them know. If there is a mcmillan unit near you then you can save your vouchers for other treatments.:) But just rereading the bumph and some use it to relax them before chemo or inbetween treatment. Some used acupuncture for sickness. Or wait til over and in recovery.
I missed a trick and will try and schedule treatments for before or after hosp appts - school run permitting and save a bit on petrol (30 mile round trip). I seem to remember you have quite a trip. Anyhow rambling on now so shall stop...
Big Hugs to you and yours :A
NB - swim was lovely ....0
