Vodafone & contract renewal...

Ok so I hold my hands up....I'm a lazy bag tonight (I've had a hard day!:o ) and I find the whole task of searching for phone deals really confusing....

I'm currently using Vodafone Talk By Text package (300 texts, 40p per minute calls for just under £20 per month. I usually go over budget with the texts and end up paying around £25 - £30 :rolleyes:

I'm looking to upgrade my phone. Its been dropped a few times and is looking a little worse for wear as well as me not being able to hear calls very well.....)

Basically, as well as a decent simple handset (flip/slide + camera), I'd like 60mins free calls and 250 texts per month for as near to £20 as I can get (or below!)

The best I can see through the comparison site is Orange Dolphin £25 = 18mth contract - 100 mins & 300 texts.

Are Vodafone likely to be more obliging if I threaten to cancel my contract - which incidentally expired in February....?

Would appreciate some advice from anyone who can make sense of this thread! :rotfl:

3 have a deal running at the moment till the end of may where you get 75 mins and 600 texts per month for £15 per month (not cashback) and you get a choice of free phones, and there not crap phones either, it may be a little under the number of mins you use but you do get an increase in text messages and its £15 for life so you can keep that tarriff till your old and grey.
