Warning - Fuel theft in North Lincolnshire

Not sure if this is the correct place to post but I live in North Lincolnshire and just wanted to spread the word that there is currently a problem with oil and diesel theft.
There has been several fuel oil thefts around the Sc*nthorpe area in the last couple of days - on a couple of occassions the men were confronted by the householder and left empty handed
We have been warned to be on the lookout for a white transit van
Last night, a farm near Winterton was targetted and several lorries and tractors were drained of diesel during the night.
Its not just about losing expensive oil/diesel - its the aftermath and the cost of repairing the damage
