Went into Tesco service station tonight to fill up my screenwash bottle with water, they want £1 to use!!!

That is a disgrace, it should be free.

    Why? ................
  • Moral of the story - always check your washer bottle level, more so at this time of the year..

However, I do agree that water should be free - afterall, it comes out of the sky. Plus with all the snow we had 2 weeks ago the price should drop..!

I'm actually thinking of changing my water supply to Oxfam as it only costs £2 per month according to the adverts..

Why? Is it free at home?

Because most of their competitors give it for free, which is why i got fuel at Shell and used their free water.

Found it interesting it was 20p for air which requires a compressor etc but £1 for water that only needs connected to a pipe.

Is this just water, or does it contain screenwash?

Not sure, however i still would not pay £1, could get a full bottle of screenwash for that price and would last more than one fill and still get free water from Shell.
