given the way the OP was trashed by a few, I am not surprised they are not back

I don't know why you all fall for this. This person asked the same question about this time last year and didn't bother to respond then either.

I suspect it is someone who needs attention.

p.s. And if they happen to respond to this it doesn't change anything.

It's not just attention he wants, he's really keen on getting hold of his Grandads £13,000

It could be an ongoing problem which comes up once a year when the statement arrives.

We have to believe, (unless we have nothing better to do than research each person) each enquiry is genuine.

In fact I remembered this story from the last time it was told which is what made me check.

The internet is full of people pretending to be someone else and you should not believe everything that you read on a public forum.

Give the guy a break - - he might have had other things on his mind since he asked the same Q last time. At 19, and with just over a year of MSE 'under his belt', he might also be unfamiliar with the expectations of the more regular MSE users.

Since you did mention his previous posts, I had a very quick skim over them and would definitely put the person into the "genuine poster" category. To accuse him of attention seeking is absurd IMO.

I am the last person who suffers fools gladly and anyone obviously trolling here will get what they deserve, and more, from me. Don't think we have any reason to believe this chappy is anything but someone who is just looking for some ideas.

At least unlike some he hasn't changed gender or the number of dependents, employment status etc.

Aahh you can't have a go at him Martin just 'cos he has a bad memory. When i get asked my age i often have to say to myself 1953, and work it out in my head.
But that's old age for you.
