Feeling a bit hapless today. Took DD to her first tetrathlon today, for fun. Got up at the crack of dawn, packed picnic, loaded pony et.c. she did shooting swimming and running ok then had a tantrum about something she refused to tell me about. Hot on the heels of this came a call to say the dog was injured - sounded like a broken leg. So I withdrew her from the xc and we legged it home to find puppylove had staged a miraculous recovery. All that effort for nothing

Oh and stuck my foot down a hole and sprained my ankle.

What a stressful day! I can't imagine the panic of thinking of doggie with broken leg... Glad that was the case! Now go have brandy for the shock :rotfl:

  • It is infuriating when they won't tell you what is wrong, but they do have a right to keep stuff to themselves. It is good when they develop the ability to keep a stiff upper lip when you don't want to share a problem.....:D
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Pavlovs lol at the inset comment. And the pigs are requesting clearance for takeoff.

The ankle is twice the size of the other one this morning. The dog has been walkies and seems fine. DD1 a says she wished she did the xc now.

Thanks for all the good wishes.x
