Have to say I'm away for results day and I'm not sad at all. Will be an interesting surprise, but happy to wait until september for it. No point ruining the rest of my holidays!

A few storming successes, target grade c getting A and mostly students got a grade reflecting their ability and the work they had put in.
Generally the ones who attended and did what they were asked did brilliantly. A lesson in life!

Feeling a bit weird as going to have the house to myself for a few hours today.
    This hardly ever happens.

Well now (which gorgeous handsome sci fi star overuses that phrase?) I am unravelling the chaos that is our finances to pay for the stables. Then I am going to do jobs until lunch, have lunch and then have a devilishly decadent snooze until five ish.
    Outrageous!

The guy was doing the stables Friday, then Monday, then today and now tomorrow. Sounds like time travel!!

Well I have faced my financial demons and done a credit card shuffle.

The good news is that since DH pointed out to his boss that he wouldn't be coming in to work on Friday for free, he has an extra day's pay coming. He is back full time from today, thank God.

The money for the stables I do consider somethingof an investment since well drained paddocks with stables and a tack room, and equestrian change of use from the planning dept are worth significantly more than a boggy field too small to be of use to any farmer. (Note to self, keep repeating this) Anyhoo we are going to get it valued when (if) the guy finally completes the job.

    Off to flylady now.
