I have nothing useful to add, but love the fact that you have a pantry! :)

Out of date mozzarella? "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Something mega happened last night, think we found a house and now we really really need a buyer.

We are down to eating the weird stuff in the pantry.

exciting news on the house front.

Given your historical love for AF, your pantry could be full of all kinds of weird and wonderful things. I have many 'bargains' from AF taking up real estate in my kitchen cupboards

I think I've used all the weird stuff, but I bought *such* a lot of gram flour from them, I'm still going through it :o

Lydia that is soo cool you know greek.

I have a teeny bit of Latin (canis latrat in via)

I should have said "silent p as in bathwater..."

    Thanks Alchemilla.

Did you do the Cambridge Latin course at school? In the first unit there's a little story about the dog getting up on the kitchen table to steal the food while the cook's asleep and then the cook snores, the dog barks, the cook wakes up and yells and the dog runs away?

I just wondered because the verb to bark wouldn't be the most common word for most people to remember!
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

The no alcohol is a bit of a struggle on a Friday. NSD and payday!

Lets see if we can send some cash to the mortgage.

You have found a house !!

    How exciting is that.

Have you offered? Obviously you need a buyer - but - expression of interest maybe ??
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
