Gorgeous properties Al! That's just what we hope to find one day with some barns we can convert for an income :)

I love the barn conversion! Seems a reasonable price too for your area?

The second link - surely those are computer generated and not actual photos?

Your house looks beautiful Al, more power to you :)

The building exists, I have driven past it!! I think because it is brand new.

    Thanks Ed.

Grrrr to flakey ebayers. Sold a fireplace, knew she was trouble because she wanted to come "around lunchtime" when I asked for an approximate time, she said 11.30-12 then rocked up at 11.

Then she announced she had brought no cash with her and proceeded to have to have it explained to her three times (and with me becoming more and more embarassed and exasperated) that she would not be leaving with the item until she paid.

Quotable quotes "But I'll leave you my business card" What?

Thinking of having a crack at the Paleo diet, but it will have to be vegetarian and with the addition of beans and quorn (from a fungus, right?!).

  • House is looking great Al, a testament to all your hard work - really fabulous.

It will all come good for you - amazing what you can do when you get motivated and work to a time schedule!

    All the best

    Thanks MCI.

I finished painting the bathroom - all the bits I had missed.

DH did a tip run, and replaced the loo seat with one that actually fits.
  • Houses look lovely. I can see why you want to move with houses like this available. The first is my favourite. Some lucky person got a bargain.

    Your time will come,
