Glad your parents move went ok.
I've clearly been inspired by your diary as bought new underwear for the children the other day. DS has had lots binned due to accidents - he has been much harder to toilet train than DD. DD needed some as she suddenly needs age 8 clothes despite being nearly 6!
It's almost the weekendJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Hi al, I picture pony plops looking like the magical pony in nanny McPhee all dolled up and winking at everyone :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Long time no squeak - how are things? I am also giggling at the prospect of a flirty pony - although in my mind I have Dobbin the Rentaghost panto horse. I am a disturbed individual, I know.

I was good ish but this week I seem to have attracted the crazies, so much so I am thinking I might have to sell my flat and use the dosh to pay off the mortgage and be rid of the faff.
But no more Slams means no more crazy shifts!!! Oh and I have a pretty iPhone 6, paid for by recycling my smaller (but still quite pretty) other iphone! AND their recyc payback was just a smidge over Envirofone so I feel suitable MSE this weekend!!! And I admit I did laugh A LOT at the video of the guy who bought his in Perth, and then dropped it!!!
I LOVED rentaghost - in fact [/engage old git mode] I really don't think they make children's programmes like they used to
What else? Oh Old Mother Hurdler's 80th was grand - her older bro flew in from Australia for her actual birthday and then her fave neice flew in for the party the week after - so really lovely.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

I don't normally go this nerdy but I was due an upgrade and O2 rang me as I told them I was waiting for it to come out so for the first time I was one of these first-day beings!!!
Of course I installed it from a back up of my other phone so it looks exactly like the old set up. The size isn't as bad as I thought - maybe because (unlike its owner) it is sleek and skinny.
I do need to put together sheckles in the company account for. New iPad next month and Old Mother Hurdler will get this one, as I think she might find it easier to use/may install Kindle for her to use to read if she finds getting to the library tough now she cannot drive anymore.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033
