I must confess that I had odd socks on Thursday, not even close, I can only think Dave paired them... how I didn't notice is beyond me.
I struggle with all their underwear / socks, for who owns what. There's only a year between them so the sizes and mine are all so similar. I frequently find knickers in my draw that aren't mine.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

I bought a load of cheap white socks and undies and dyed them in the kids fav colours so one is red one is purple one is blue. Expect your girls are too grown up for that?0

No I have a house full of teens. I wouldn't even dare buy anything without them with me as its become a waste of money, they do have very different styles so I can work out whose clothes are whose, but pants and socks are a different matter. Fortunately I have never paid any attention to labels and they are happy with primarny and matalan etc. The Jack wills type stuff rears its head every now and again.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... Jack Wills is cheap on ebay.
Went to Lidl to find they had changed their opening hours and were closed. Car park full of disgruntled customers.
I have the olds log basket here so I have filled it with logs and kindling and newspaper, firelighters and matches for giving back to them on wednesday when they are in their new house.
I will eat a healthy breakfast every day this week.0 -
What a lovely moving in gift for themMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Urgh re children's underwear - I have 3 boys all in grey school socks. Used to be a right pain until I discovered M&S socks have the size (and space for name) in the inside of the top band - well worth the extra money (and they hold their shape too) for the increased speed of sorting dry laundry! I do confuse DD's socks and mine sometimes, too. We also have a couple of sets of M&S undies which are identical - but hers are somewhat smaller than mine!:o:p:rotfl:I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200

Yeah, that's how I work out I'm in the wrong knickers some mornings, I pull them on at 5.30 in the dark and they are tighter than they need to be...

I did consider just scrawling names on the bottom of the socks.0

Mr T also does socks with the size in them. DD, DS and I all wear grey or black socks for work/school (on days when DD and I are wearing trousers, which is most of the time). DD wears the 4-6 ones, I wear the 7-9 ones, and DS has recently graduated from sharing the 4-6 ones with DD and is now sharing the 7-9 ones with me. I can wear the 4-6 ones quite comfortably when they are new but they shrink after a bit, so 7-9 ones continue to fit a lot longer. DD's undies mostly have a coloured edge round them, whereas mine are plain, so no confusion there.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
