Thanks both. You will get no argument from me!

Today i have got three of us haircuts, bought dh new pants (you do not want to know how many pairs he had left), driven him 45 miles to work and back, arranged a vetting, bought a salt lick and a poo picking kit, got the field shelter moved and paid the guy, got the abandoned dumper truck outof the field, bought DD1 a lunchbox to replace the one puppy ate, dropped DD2 off for a party dropped off drycleaning and despatched or dispatched DH to the field to clear out rusty stuff.

I feel lost without pony hunting to do!!

    Today i am grateful for
*dh found the meringue last night in the aga bottom oven that i had started cooking LAST saturday
*DS was good for his first haircut
*it hasnt rained too much yet
    * field shelter guy put up a haynet ring for me
    * free nivea samples at the hairdresser
  • Excuse my stupidity but what does a poo picking kit comprise of?:D

Lois I had the night off last night to use up the homebrew before it goes off and watch Sherlock. I am at 30/50, ten tonight and ten tomorrow night and reckon I will have cracked it.

    How is yours going?
  • Ten is manageable in a day. Good luck, and thanks for the info! Like a giant cat litter scoop really!

I've finished my coursework, Alchemilla, but have a load of lesson preparation to do, and a desk covered in stuff that I thought I would "file later". How are yours going now?

Busy day again. DH took my car to get new tyres and his hair cut, took a neighbour to the station, bought some pony stuff, washed the hall floor, DH and DD1 did some making safe in the field, rang up about pony insurance and trailer breakdown cover, eternal washing, still have coursework to mark.

    Today I am grateful for
    * the new vet in Mole Valley, Max (Swoon swoon)
    * scrambled bantams' eggs for breakfast courtesy of a neighbour
    * My brother's help with the getting ready of the field
    * The man at the tyre place calling us to let us know DH had left a load of medication there
    * DS is starting to put words together

Not so happy about two male staff in mole valley swearing in front of my kids (one said B*gg*r and one said F*ck*ng).
