    Are we drinking? Rather!
DH broke up yesterday. He has about 90 scripts to mark this weekend bless him.

    Thanks for the weekend wishes.

    Today looks like

    Cook them all breakfast
Take the trio to fetch the lawnmower/s from the menders
    Take them swimming
    Take DD2 to party
    Barbie with rents
    Collect DD from party
Take the plops out, though may delegate to DH who will have been marking all day by then and probably need to get out
    Washing.
    Its chaos here.

Eta with marking money coming in the *ahem* overdraft is no more and the *ahem* credit card is next...I may be on the wrong board.

Summer promises to be cheaper since
    No dogsitter to pay
    Aga going off
    Homebrew
    Reduced petrol costs.

Aga going off happened sooner rather than later since we ran out of oil.
Will be cooking breakfast on the Baby Belling. Wish me luck!!

    Happy holidays Al!

I think this board is very therapeutic in a lot of ways. I used to get jealous when I heard about other people going on holiday, because I rather selfishly didn't consider the fact that other people find work hard too :o

Nowadays I'm cheering inwardly whenever I hear about folk going on leave (particularly the core MFW demographic of teachers, teachers, and more teachers) ;)

Thanks Ed. There is more sneering than cheering around public sector workers, thank you ConDems.

I am not on hols for a fortnight though, only DH.

Here is the first breakfast cooked on the BB.

We have soo much food in it shouldnt be a problem.

No halloumi (oh no is my cooking so bad!!??)

Oh I see. Those are somewhat charred croquette potatoes.
  • What is Barbie rents? Sounds a bit dodgy. Breakfast looks yummy and I didn't see any haloumi. How posh is Ed, having haloumi for breakfast?

    All the best,

Posh enough to like classical music and know that there is more to wine than white or red. Common enough to eat a kebab.
