  • I like to think of you spending your half term brewing enough wine to last until the next school holiday! I would like to make our own but that really will have to wait until retirement as I can't fit any more into our lives!

    Have a good Sunday,

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Thanks Squirrel. I twice posted on your thread last night but my phone kept carping out.

I feel like a bag of spanners today and it is entirely self inflicted.

Sorry to hear of your van experience, it's so hit and miss with drivers isn't it? But then I also see riders out at dusk with no hi viz so there's a few who let us down as well!

Hope DD coped well and starts to get your confidence in putting plonkers in their place!!

    Thanks ATT.
Floppy when I was pg I was crossing the road at a smallish dual carriageway. A woman saw me crossing and actually accelerated. I turned in the road, pointed at her through her windscreen and shouted "what are you gonna do now, run me over?". She stopped...luckily!

Thought of you yesterday. Saw a farmhouse with 4 acres and stables and permission to convert a barn. DH could bike to work and my drive would be shorter...18th century...if we pooled resources with the olds we could do it...but we cant face the hassle.

Fighting the urge to buy random stuff. Somebody starp me!

No our nearest is a 45 min drive, but thanks. It was 20p but the machine kept spitting out my coins. Should have complained but three musketeers in the car.

Cleared out the carp in my car and dyeing DDs duvet set purple at her request. About to do some Maths with her.

Potty training score 1 wee on the loo and 2 on the furniture.

You'll have to keep us updated about that now - like MWC does with her eggs in and eggs out.

    Seconded :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
