Your petrol costs genuinely frighten me! I budget £30 a week for both cars.
We spend less than £30/mth on petrol, sometimes when I visualise Al it's like one of those newspaper political cartoons, Brittania leading a pony in one hand and with a petrol pump in the other :rotfl:0 -
Oh my goodness!
DH spent £20 on dine ins and £9 on two pairs of work trousers.
Also £9 on chess books weds.
£44 on a bike for DSs birthday.0 -

My oh buys random things too but I would still rather he went shopping than have to do it myself.....Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Im not a fan of shopping either though I do adore Lidl!
Just asked the back lady to come out to ponyplops since something is causing her discomfort. Might be walking her like a big dog today.0 -
Hmmm...might be saddle issues, Alchemilla? They change shape a lot with the seasons; I have to get my saddle rejigged for spring and again in the autumn.

Hello Wirenth. I suspect you are right. Back lady is going to recommend a saddler/fitter a bit nearer than the one we have been using, though I like him because he reflocks on the spot.0
