  • Morning folks.

No one said the cocktails had to be alcoholic. That said I will go for either Mojito or long island beach.

Trust you lot to think I was leading you astray :)

Hope everyone having a good start to the weekend

Forgot to add, mostly paid for car tax, only six months, from eBay sales

Thanks guy! The support on here is fab :D

Success success and more success. It gets very addictive. Yay for milestones. I think we can look and find something no matter how small to celebrate each month and that can be hugely motivating and will outweigh any negativity.

    Well done!

Overtime pay went in which means settling some scores with some nasty people chasing!

    Big congrats to antonic. :T

It happens eventually! Still 5 yrs + for me.
First DMP payment went through and got distributed last month.
I'm going to wait for a couple to go by before assessing where all my creditors are at and what they're doing.
Then the campaign against any interest / charges will begin if necessary.
All my creditors have been sooo silent lately. Looks like it's me that's going to have to chase them to find out how they're taking the situation!

Yeah, long haul, it's the small acheivements that are important.
The first for me of course as anyone is being on the plan, and not having to struggle to meet living costs. When I think what things were like a couple of months ago, I'm so relieved and happy for myself with finally sorting this.

    All the best everyone.
    DO NOT PANIC.
The future is looking good now...

    Hi all,

Very well done to those approaching the light at the end of the tunnel and welcome to those who have had their LBM. This forum saved me so many tears and time when I set out on the good ship DMP.

Now then, let's cut to the chase. Did someone say something about a party............?! Moscow Mule for me please.

Ignore us Suseka, every now and then we have mad days like this. I think a little debt success goes a long way :D

Now what cocktail can we put you down for? Antonic isn't drinking so he can be shaker in chief _party_

Never good with choices so I'll just have one each of what everyone else is having - hic :D

I think this is going to be my plan aswell (unless the creditors contact me first) give it a few months and see what they are doing. Still quiet on the contact front except i did get a text from NRAM this morning to say my payment is due :), never had that before, must be becuase i cancelled the DD.

Also agree with Zenshi the support and advice on here is awesome, doubt i would have taken the plunge if it wasn't for the advice and support on here !! :T

All quite here and plodding along nicely got my overtime pay this month and i know i should put it away in emergency fund but i feel so guilty that the kids have gone without treats the past couple months im going to spend it on them and have some quality time together.
    Life is for living afterall!
Good luck to those starting out 2nd payment to SC has been processed and all is looking good. X
LBM Dec 2012 total debt 33,889 :eek:dmp started March 2013 DFD Dec 2024

  • Mossop, don't feel guilty about the odd treat with the kids. They deserve a childhood and you can't buy back time. I know not everything costs but sometimes you have to give yourself a break.
