Ebay disasters

I have bought several things from Ebay this week.
One has arrived and it is not the size stated.
One has been sent with not enough postage so I need to pay £3.20 to retrieve it from the post office.
The final item was obviously not meant for me as it is a totally different item to what I purchased. The packages must have been muddled by the sender.
The last time an Ebay transaction went wrong for me I bought a part for my vacuum cleaner which when it arrived was damaged. I sent it back by recorded delivery and RM never got a signature to say it was delivered. Subsequently I didn't get a refund from the seller because I couldn't prove he'd received it. My only option is to send the items back via another tracked method. I've had a look and collect+ is £3.99 +vat. I can't see the 2 sellers are going to refund me this cost as the items that are incorrect are low value.
Am I going to lose out on all of these?

Ask for a full refund. Some sellers won't ask you to return if low value. If you do have to return - ask for return postage.
You say 1st is wrong size? Do you mean doesnt fit or actually wrong size. If wrong - as above. If just doesn't fit -you pay return.
Ask for extra postage back. Keep packaging as proof (get a reciept if you havent picked up). Seller may want it.
If any refuse - neg and hammer their stars . Paypal and ebay wont make them pay return - but sometimes ebay offer to pay (normally for large items though).0 -
I've contacted the wrong size seller (label said different from listing and therefore doesn't fit) and she has said she will pay the same postage she paid. However if I want the item properly tracked it will leave me out of pocket by £2.60. Without tracking I will be out of pocket if seller denies receipt.0

Re the unsigned for vacuum part why didn't you claim from the Royal Mail for a lost item? You had the receipt after all.
For the incorrect item, have you contacted the seller? You say they won't want to pay you for the postage, I think it is more likely that they won't want negative feedback!
For the incorrectly sized item, send it recorded - as for the vacuum part if it isn't delivered/signed for claim from the post office.
You shouldn't be out of pocket for any of these instances. I'm sorry you're having such a poor time with ebay.0 -
RM don't from memory refund postage which in this instance was £3 originally and even by recorded is about another 3 back again. The item cist £3 roughly. Can't believe all these things have gone wrong at once because I so rarely have problems. Mind you I don't usually buy clothes.0

You mean she will pay full amount + return postage up to the price she paid?
Why are you paying £2.60 extra for tracking - signed for is 95p.0 -

But then you just claim back from Royal Mail - not really the sellers problem.0 -

The seller has refused to pay the full amount needed to send the parcel by any tracked method so I will have to leave negative feedback.0 -

It wouldn't be the sellers problem if they were honest but who is to say the parcel arrives but because a signature isn't obtained then the seller denies they have it? I don't see why I should lose out when none of these problems have been caused by me. If the sellers sent the correct items it wouldn't be an issue.

The Royal Mail will pay you the cost of the item PLUS the amount you spent on the postage.
They may be 'pains in the proverbial'but even they don't expect you to pay for a service you haven't had.

Just nipped off to check their website -
