IB to ESA

Is there a deadline ATOS has to reply to us all or releases any info? As I said above I completed their form and submitted in January, to my surprise had a letter about IB renewal middle of February, I did call up JobCentre end of Feb to see why I had received a letter about IB and not transferal to ESA but they just told me to keep waiting and I would hear from them in due course!
Today I am still waiting for a reply of any kind. Just wondered what I should do now as need to know if benefits are going to be cut and if we have to survive on less than minimum wage. If I will be needing a medical, tribunal or which category I will go into etc. So stressed waiting.
Thanks.Failure is only someone elses judgement.

Try not to stress now.
There may be enough to stress about later with all the changes ahead, possible tribunals etc.
No two people seems to have gone through the same time scale.
Just be glad for now that you are still on IB.0 -
I don't think they should put IB claimants through so much stress when they obviously had to go through this to get on the benefit in the first place and in most cases rely on the money. It's easier for people who don't receive it because they don't rely on it.
And then they have to be reviewed every 3 years is a joke.. what do they expect to change with someone with a life disorder?
I hope ATOS and the DWP see sense.0 -
After all the stories on the news recenly I really dont know how much longer I can wait. Daft thing to say I know as I have little choice than to do so dont I. However it's stressing me out so much, our council tax bill has increased by an additional £21 a month extra compared to last year (despite them saying there would be a price freeze), our Housing benefit & council tax benefit has decreased by £4 a month and our Tax Credits have been cut quite a bit too!
I really need to find out what the results are for my IB - ESA claim is as I am getting myself worked up over it now and its starting to worry me to a point of being worse. I know if they cut it I will have to deal with the consequences as we will be living under minimum wage again but at least I will be able to start sorting the problem out in some way (not entirely sure how but thats another day for advice).
I'm just about staying on top of the bills at the moment having tightened the belt as best as I can with the deals available etc. Our diet is rapidly changing its habbits as we have to rely on the cheaper less healthier options long term.
Tried phoning them but they just give me a stock answer they will be in touch in due course and cant help me any further.
Sorry to rant but I needed to vent - thanks for listening!
Hope I have a letter through the letterbox very soon. Here's hoping its not more nasty news but I expect it will be devastating!Failure is only someone elses judgement.
