http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=245938 This is the best thread for Quidco related Questions

I have done 7 insurance's via Quidco and all have tracked, validated and been paid without any problems.

    I have used

Screentrade, AA, Direct line, More Than, and Barclays

    * Barclays taken about 5 days to track, but all was fine after that.

I've got an outstanding Quidco - Direct Line cashback from February.

I've previously bought house and car insurance via Quidco from Direct Line and it's tracked and paid without a hitch.

This time, when I bought my car insurance in Feburary 2007, it actually started tracking @ £75 under July 2006 ?? - I've left it for past couple of months as it did say 'Validated' but yet another month end has gone and no sign of payment.

I'm going to have to dig out my documents and submit a query as Direct Line are probably a bit confused as to why Quidco are claiming for a policy for February 2007, but probably quoting July 2006 as my purchase date.

I took the missus car insurance out through RAC a few months back, worked out cheaper than new Direct Line policy (even with 2nd car, home insurance discount , internetc...). - This was varified and paid up in the same month.

Hi, I was with Direct Line for years and years but used quidco this time for my car insurance. I found that Prudential cost me £2 a year more than DL but offered £130 cashback - effectively £128 cheaper than it would have been if I had stayed with Direct Line

Quidco has been great for everything I've bought through them until I bought insurance for my van from the "Post Office."
That was over 3 months ago and it still hasn't tracked.
    Quidco are investigating.

I am totally disgusted with Quidco-I have not received any rebate for a Barclays home insurance policy which I took out through them FOUR months ago!

I have asked Quidco for the name and phone no. of their CEO but am now being totally ignored, that is my experience with this shower!

You've got to bear in mind that Quidco can only pay out if the 3rd party tracking companies they use successfully track the transaction. You really need to take out your aggravation on the tracking network merchant - NOT Quidco. Also no cashback is guaranteed on any quidco transaction - it is the risk that you have to take - often something simple like not clearing your cookies wil prevent a transaction being tracked! Not a lot Quidco can do about that!

we received out car insurance renewal quote from churchill a couple of weeks ago. it was a staggering £1230. by far the cheapest was eCar insurance, which we got for £500 via quidco. the £40 referral tracked instantly, though not validated/paid yet (but this was only 3 days ago!!!)
