quidco and direct line

My car insurance is due to run out at the end of the month, so have started having a browse around to find the cheapest deal.

I usually go through greasypalm to get cashback on my insurance, but quidco offer double the amount of cashback, so I'm thinking of going through them this time instead.

I just wondered of people had any experiences of using quidco for insurance, and how reliable they are at tracking?

many thanks in advance

I've had mixed success with getting insurance through Quidco

Got Lloyds car insurance at the end of last year and that tracked fine through Quidco. Just the other week however i got Direct Line life insurance and that hasn't been tracked.

I did home buildings and contents seperately with churchill via quidco. One tracked but the other didn't.

I have submitted an enquiry for the non-tracked one so fingers crossed.

Greasypalm tkae a far bigger chunck of cashback for themselves. Don;t use them.

Compare and you'll see Quidco offer almost double on everything, be it % or cash. Also, have found if you go through some insurance links via greasypalm, the quote you get is higher than if you go diretly to the insurer - so your better off going direct and not collecting the cashback...when using greasypalm. Quidco don;t seem to pull that trick thankfully.

I am totally disgusted with Quidco-I have not received any rebate for a Barclays home insurance policy which I took out through them FOUR months ago!

I have asked Quidco for the name and phone no. of their CEO but am now being totally ignored, that is my experience with this shower!

Another success from us. Hubby took out Direct Line car insurance through quidco, it tracked within a day and paid out exactly when it said it would. Big thumbs up from us.
