They are talking out of their proverbials. I do love how they seem to think the GDC are lobbying to protect revenue streams for us. Honestly, I dont do a lot of whitening. If I did no more it would barely be noticed in my income. What I care about is my patients and the public being treated fairly and safely by people that are ethical and legal. Fact is that they can say what they like about what agent they employ to whiten your teeth. The very act of putting ones fingers in to someone elses mouth in order to do a procedure is classed as dentistry. As such they break the law if they are not a dentist or are not a gdc registrant working from a dentists treatment plan. They are very defensive and hostile in their responses to your genuine and reasonable requests. I dont think I would want them near me to do anything. I hope you are able to get a refund :)

It's the Eu not GDC which are banning sodium perborate on the basis of its toxicity , particularly reproductive in both men and women. here's the scientific reports

Indeed certain mouthwashes, denture fixatives and hair dyes are no longer allowed to be sold in Europe. This is about safety not protecting business as perborates are being phased out of many products from fertilisers to washing powders.

Pearl drops are incredibly abrasive. They wear off stain and enamel but will not whiten teeth. She will permanently damage the enamel if she continues. Get her to stop.

OMG I have used this for years, I wonder how much damage I have done:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time
