Arval / Allstar Fuel Card Charges

Our company has been hit too by this £2 fee for each and every transaction. We have been searching the internet for an alternative provider (hence finding this website!) but none seem to offer the coverage of filling stations that Allstar currently provide. Also our predictions for extra charges over the year amount to around £600, considerably less than others have forecast for their own company. That said, we are monitoring these charges regularly for the next 6 months and will review again. Let's hope the rumours that they are planning to revoke these charges come into force sooner rather than later!0

Card To Avoid!
KEYFUELS - (various sites) 2000 on the network but BUYER BEWARE there are a ton of surcharged sites the worst I ever saw was in the isle of wight or the highlands with charges as high as bulk + 15ppl. There are so many hidden catches I found the hardway I sold thousands of these naively to find out that before Tesco's pulled out of the network Keyfuels were charging bulk + 4ppl without my knowledge and the customers knowledge and Unleaded again is bulk + 20% 2/10
I hope this helps! If you need any more fuel related advice just ask.
By the way I don't work in fuel no more I run my own business!
Completely inaccurate. My company has used Keyfuels cards for years. The service is excellent and we save thousands of pounds because the cards work on bunkering. The only surcharges are for sites miles off the beaten track, they have little impact on the price because these surcharges are nowhere near those posted above. Keyfuels are miles better than oil company cards or other pump price cards.
It is a pity that people posting comments on this site don't check their facts before doing so.0 -

Hi,
Like many others we’re in the process of cancelling our agreement due to the charges. Just wondered if there’s anyone who’s actually received notice of the changes? If not, can they lawfully take these charges without letting you know? Could this be challenged legally?0 -
Like many others I had no notification of network fee. Had been with them for 8+ years. I could not get hold of anyone to question new charge including no response to my emails. So I opted to use co. credit card option.
I cancelled my DD & left a £90 o/s charge. Given that they had managed to obtain over £200 of fees that I hadn't agreed to I am so far refusing to pay this. I now have solicitors chasing me for this! They tell me that we got two letters notifying us of the fee. It begs the question "why wasn't it added as a note on the invoices ?" as they came through the post OK
At the moment I feel so aggrieved that I am more than happy to go to court to plead my case. Unless someone advises not... surely they must be regulated by FSA or someone similar?0 -

Hi ntb1 a word of advice be vary wary of Fuel Genie as 1 they offer 0 discount on the price there and also the company who supply all supermarkets (Harvest Energy) got a 5 million pound plus fine for not meeting the minimum british standards on fuel if you want to use morrisons e.t.c. then go for fastfuels (texaco) 2000 + sites on a bulk price no hidden charges0

Excuse me transport man I worked in the industry I have Spreadsheets highlighting every single surcharged site on the KF network Bunkering is a multi fuel filling type use.
Ok if I do not know my facts here is a question transport man.
Tell me the differences between Bunkering into the network, Bunker stock, Bunkering on Site and bunker cards then we will see who has the facts. If you both to read my post I highlight A lot of surcharges not all network surcharges.
But you crack on being blind in ignorance I won't lose sleep over it.
But get one thing straight I know my facts and I know that KF is a double edged sword.
And it is quite funny you come on here and sign up just to post that?
You sure you do not work for C H Jones / Key Fuels??
when you have some clout to back up what could be a fuel card provider in drag then come back to me with some evidence of your claims0
