Amazon - late next day delivery

We have amazon prime - when something isn't delivered next day as 'guaranteed' then we complain and get 1 months extension on the prime membership every time. We normally get 6-8 months free extension every year as Royal Mail are rubbish where we are0

delivering next day items or 1st class items?
Anything...our postman seems to deliver every other day, and then leaves any parcels or packages until he has a couple to deliver at the same time. We've had duplicate letters delivered to our office and home (about 7 miles apart) - next day at the office, and 2 days later at home. We get nothing for a few days, then a massive stack of letters.
On the plus side he can't be bothered to collect payment on any undercharged postage...0 -

bear in mind staff cant simply leave mail in the office
if you believe mail is being delayed, then report it
however also be aware that mail does come in 'waves' due to the nature of the beast and RMs staffing of mail centres
eg Monday/Tuesday will be generally quiet days for letters,Wednesdays busy.
So it can easily appear mail isnt being delivered until Wednesday0 -
OP update: I got a full refund0
