    I knew someone who sued their partner (while still going out with them) in small claims court and got an attachment of earnings order. Amazingly they didn't break up over this, though I think they did fairly soon after the debt had been paid in full. The advantage is it comes straight out of his pay packet so he gets no choice over whether to pay you or not one month if he's a bit strapped. If you did this though, your employer would definitely find out.

    I agree ti lil_me statement and raise it with.

    If banks wont loan to people then you know there not worth lending to.
    If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
