TalkTalk have similar with no T&Cs except having to ask for it or ordering it via your online account.

I think Sky don't charge for caller ID too.

I'm joining talk talk next week - what do I need to ask for?

Just looked at the Panasonic KX-TG8522 , is that the best one?

Will that work with talk talk?

That's a nice model for sure. Userguide here

The important bit from page 29:

Personally I have Nightmode on 23hrs 59mins with some handsets but allow through certain numbers. I have 20 or 30 numbers that are completely blocked (phone does not light up or ring). Yes, that phone will work with TT as I have similar.

With Nightmode the phone still lights up but no noise unless the person is barred obviously.

For TalkTalk I did it online via My Account / Boosts and calling features / Privacy Pack. It should show as £0.00. Just tick the box and press update. You may need to wait until you have an online account and your line has fully moved before you have that option. TT will advise I'm sure.

Slightly newer Panasonic model at a lower price http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004RFFPZY/ £48.99 Smaller screen though. Also consider http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9070024.htm

Just mind if you're using these for blocking/Nightmode then no other phone in the house should have a live ringer [or it will ring]. I have a desk phone and I just turn the volume off.

These phones give you a lot of peace and quiet and I would consider that BT one but the 10 blocked callers is miserly, useless and ill-thought out.
