I have phone and broadband with Talktalk. Would it be a good idea for them to be disconnected while my house is empty for 5 months?

There is certainly no urgent technological reason to disconnect, you can switch off your modem at the mains and unplug the 'phone and you'll only be charged normal line rental and Broadband subscription.susiesunshine wrote: »I have phone and broadband with Talktalk. If you tell Talk Talk you are away for several months you may be able to negotiate a deal with them so as to keep you as a customer on your return.
Ring them and ask...0 -
You'll have to weigh the subscription saving against the cost of reconnection. And you'll lose your number. No free lunch, and no free laptop
