You could try something like this: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Lockdown/Microsoft-Private-Folder.shtml0 -
you can make a truecrypt partition any size you want upto the size of the disk and then have the folder on there, its fairly simple.0

Probably, but it's always worked for me here. That, and the fact that most people here can just about turn computers on!:rotfl::wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
TrueCrypt for me too.
The only problem is you need to have administrative rights to use it (or install it first time round). But most people that use XP have such rights (at home) although work may be trickier as companies often restrict access."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

Although it is My pc at home, it is shared amongst a group, and anything I have in my history and messenger folders, including my emails, REGARDLESS of what they contain, I dont want people to see, thats why they are private, and\or addressed to me and not addressed to "any user".:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Nice one, but according to the site, it says it creates a folder called "private folder". Im after protecting an existing folder in my docs\history.... which i hope will automatically allow files to be added, but only ask for a password if the folder is opened, will this do that???:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
