Hodge (as in hodge podge of genetic material) springs to mind, though.

I don't know how to post a picture or i would

I like Archie depends on what colour and type of cat he is. Love Aslan if he looks like a lion like creamy/browny colours. Ares is fanastic too as someone else said. You could even call him Simba or Samba.

In my old house we had strays (where my cat came from) and there was 3 boys. Called one TomTom as father of the cats was called Ginger Tom (Named by us because we didn't know his name and he was Ginger and Tom Cat haha duh.) Another was named One Eye (he went blind in one eye when young from living outside) mean I know but he suited it. And then last but not least Fred and we named the girl cat Ginger to match after famous dancer/movie stars.
  • WOW!! Thanks guys - some great ideas.

    I'm loving Albus and Alfonso!!

Why the letter 'a' ---- not too sure! The last two cats I have had were always known as the 'A Team' in the house, seems to have stuck!

I lost my lovely Aphrodite (Affie) a few weeks ago, but she was so, so sick that I know I did what was best for her and I gave her every chance. Angel is now at home on her own and not doing so well with it, so I will be getting my first ever kitten next week.

Baby cat is a ginger Persian (always had Persian rescue cats) and I'm just a little excited about it now.

    As for names ---

I had Maddy - maddy maddy moo
    Angel - angel cakes
    Affie - affie waff

I know he will 'grow' into one name at some point, but it's good to at least have a shortlist I think!!

Thanks so much for all your ideas - I knew I could count on you!!

Our former neighbours son and wife called their son Atticus - we were gob-smacked.

No, they are not the Beckhams, but yes, you are all correct, they are a pair of pretentious gits.
The bankers stole my pension (and everyone else's). It should have earned a lot of money, but they took their bonus pot first.

Make your shortlist, go and stand at your back door and call them all out.

Now, which one trips best off the tongue?

Which one makes you feel like a complete idiot?

The cat will always answer to the second option.

    You've had the A team.

Why not B names, then? Bitzer, Bitzi, Buzz, Bert, Baxter, Bob (cat), Benton, Bisto, Benton, Busby, Bumpy, Bozo, Bosco, Bungle, Barney Rubble, Barley, Bonbon, Boxer, Bart, Bingo.......
