I have absolutely no issues with leather or rabbit fur - I eat beef and rabbit so no problem.

Fox-fur, mink etc. is where I would have a problem as we don't generally eat those so they're simply being killed for fashion.

Wear it if you want to wear it! I wouldn't be able to tell at all, and even if I could I wouldn't bat an eye lid.

I have a mink coat in the loft, which I was given years ago in Germany as a second-hand 'throw-out'. It is gorgeous and warm, and feels really luxurious on - but I've never been able to face wearing it yet. I was too polite to refuse the gift though.

Maybe I could stitch a label from a fake fur jacket into it and pretend it's never seen a real animal......



It probably doesn't even look real by now, as it is long and so over the top.

I wonder if people who have a fur coat that they don't want to wear would get some money for it on EBay? There are countries like maybe Russia where people wear fur because it's so cold, - you might get some buyers.
