Should I keep the printer or return it and get the store to get me the Brother as I originally reserved.

    Any comments gratefully appreciated.

I would take it back quickly and get a refund.

Lexmark Cartridges are an expensive nightmare.

The Lexmark is a great printer but your right, running costs will make it prohibitive so I’ll be taking it back tomorrow.

you get a choice of either
    1 - a 2 year extension on your warranty
    2 - a label printer
    3 - a usb memory stick

    2 years extra sounds great.

Managed to get my reserved Brother at the weekend. They offered me a 3 year warranty for a tenner which I thought was a good deal.

Stock will probably be limited to machines in stock in individual stores and home delivery probably not available in your area as the delivery depot for London is out of stock. In stock for delivery to York so must be another depot.

This is part of the previous line up of Brother printer models now superceeded (cosmetically) by newer model numbers so doubtfull they will have more stock of these coming in and are just clearing the slightly older models.

If you can get one I highly recommend them for good cheap printing. Used my brother printer similar to this model for over a year printing about 200 pages daily without a single hitch!

There aren't any in my local store and I can't seem to order one for delivery even though it says delivery possible. So annoying!

Just give Viking a call and get them to price match.

I've done this in the past, and i didn't want to give payment details over the phone so they let me order online and refunded the money later.

The added bonus is that you get quidco too.

Should add that i am an existing customer there, but new customers should be ok too - they have a price promise.
