MSE News: House prices rising again, Halifax says

Even if you bought in 2007 you're onto a win thanks to government interventions with mortgage lending, interest rates, non-existent house building and a refusal to regulate private rentals.
I see the newspapers are bigging up this widely welcomed upward trend in house price growth. Front page of the Daily Express!
So bravo to the BoE and their Funding for Lending scheme in successfully boosting house prices at last - after merely supporting them since the crunch. Pity businesses aren't gaining much from FfL mind, but house prices and buying remains the priority.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. in my part of the country house prices have fallen quite a lot. but they are looking like they are remaining stable now, don't think there is going to be a crash in housing like so many people wanted and would have been better for everyone.
This is why i bought, sick of waiting to be honest, but got at a much reduced price :TEx HPC fool0
