M&S should I switch
I am now at the end of a fixed rate with M&S I am a bit scared to change to another supplier With M&S I can stay and pay £7 per month moreTo change I could go with EDF and save a little based on what the new price would be. Looking at the Customer Service is just **
uswitch suggested I could change to Scottish power who have a better Customer score.
Previously I had been with Atlantic then Go Direct 5 and then M&S All are basically all with SSE Have never had any problem with any of these supplier. My question is is it really worth changing for say £84 per year or peace of mind that I won't encounter problems with a new supplier
I have economy 7 and use 80% on the night rate. Advice would be appreciated as I am elderly living in a retirement apartment. Difficulty in making decisions.
Thank you
Sue

You seem to be ok doing the comparisons
As you know, M&S energy is essentially just another name/tariff supplied by SSE.
It's up to you if you consider £84 is a cost worth paying to remain with 'the devil you know'.
Although SSE are one of the better suppliers as far as customer service goes, I'm not sure I'd pay £84 a year more for any one suppliers customer service compared to another. I may not even contact them in the year. You only usually need to contact them if they have already made a mistake!
What could you spend £84 on?
But ultimately it's your money, and your decision on how you spend it.0
