I Tried To Install A System From Greasy Palm But There Was Problems Installing It. Everytime I Log Onto E Mail Now I Get A Start Up Warning
Greasypalmupdate Has Registered Excecutable C:\windows\greasypalmupdate.exe To Run A System Start Up .
Do You Wish To Allow This Change.

Every Time I Select The 'no' Box But The Message Keeps Appearing. I Went Into Windows And Deleted The Info Regarding Greasy Palm But Its Still There. I Have Start Up Mechanic And Zone Alarm (told To Do This Buy The Guys In Work) And Have Scanned The System But Its Still Appearing. I Am A Complete Novice I Know How To Switch On And Off Computer So Please Be Very Idiot Proof With Your Replies. Your Help Is Greatly Appreciated As This Is Really Annoying.

poxy greasypalm reinstalls itself all the time to the startup menu

only way to stop it is to unistall the program from add/remove programs

if it did not install properly there may not be an unistall for it, if you download spybot or ACE utilities both have a start-up manager where you can untick greasey palm

Ace utilites will also do a clean up on the registry for you

I'm lost now - what is a hijacker. I read the link to follow but the instructions sound so scary that I am frightened to do anything. I am completely new to this

Me again have installed all above recommendations but GreasyPalm still there. Any other ideas please.

BUT, have you run Hijack This? No good just installing it or any other anti spyware programs, you have to run them and follow the prompts at the end to get rid of the rubbish.

thank you again Mr Skint but when I enter the filepath it says cannot find it so does this mean I am stuck with GreasyPalm
