Men's plain white t-shirts

My Dad, for his birthday, has asked for a dozen plain white t shirts, and he's a bit fussy to say the least. He wears them under shirts instead of vests.
He says they need to have a about an inch deep neckline rather than just a hem, and he wants them a good quality material, not some of these you get so thin they are see-thru.
Any ideas? They'll need to be at least XXL size. I have no hubby so wouldn't have the first idea where to start looking.
Thanks in advance

Depends on your budget..I'd probably say Gap or M&S, at a push American Apparel sell some ultra nice soft ones although if buying online you do have to be careful they are not the sheer ones!0

I've bought good quality t-shirts for my hubby and dad from uniqlo but the largest size is XL
Their heatech range is very good for the cold weather (my dad and hubby work outside)

Next tshirts are good quality (or certainly used to be) and go up to large sizes or M&S.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Years ago I used to work in a printing shop, and they swore by screen stars/fruit of the loom t-shirts, as they're good quality and don't shrink or twist:

Cotton Traders? dont bother with Adsa or Tresco - both are rubbish!
Fruit of the Loom are good too as another poster has said.0 -
M&S, in the Vests section, really good quality white T shirts. They have round or V neck and have a good inch (very soft hem/rim around them) they sometimes have them in M&S outlet and I think (from memory) that they come in packs of two. By far the best quality my OH wears them the same way or as PJ/loung top. Dont think that they are a skinny fit - they aren't, they are just very soft and look skinny and long (but don't be put off on the fit by that)0

Gap ones are really nice. They sell crew or v necks. £8 each but I think they sell 3 for 2 or do similar deals.
They are really good quality. Soft and don't stretch or shrink.
Edit just checked and they only go up to an XL..... My OH likes marks and spencer ones too, the ones someone else has suggested from the underwear section "cool and fresh", or something like that?0 -
Jacamo do larger sizes and OH has had lots of t shirts from there that have been good quality - he has never bought plain t shirts from them though. They do free returns and usually have offers on for first time customers!0

You might need to show him a picture so he can confirm if that is the right about of fabric around the neck
Or just buy from M&S or John Lewis and get a gift receipt if they are wrong he can change them!0 -

Alternatively, as he wears them already, can't you just ask where he gets them from now and buy from there?0
