    Its simple

Based on what you say during your numerous posts, you have no case.

Clearly you are not a poster who wants to be "helped".

Not 35 helpful responses though! But thanks for the advice anyway.

The OP is only interested in "helpful" responses (i.e. only what he wants to hear, not the brutal truth)

Surely everyone on here only wants to hear helpful responses.

Depends if you define helpful as something you want to hear.

You've been told by MBNA, by FOS and by us you have no complaint. You don't want to believe any of us.

Giving or ready to give help.

Thats my definition. Not the classic british patronising non helpful attitude that clearly a few like to exercise on these forums.

You have had help. Help to understand that you dont have a case.

You got lucky on the other two due to auto payouts. Doesnt mean you will get lucky on the final one. Its game over. FOS have ruled. End of story.

I am afraid, OP, the other posters are telling you what you need to hear rather than what you want to.

The fact is that for the complaint to be upheld the evidence must indicate that it is more likely than not that your assertion is true (and not merely equally likely).

As I understand it, an adjudicator at FOS has rejected your complaint. You can now go to an Ombudsman but I suspect the answer will be the same.

If that fails you can go to court but it is likely to cost you money not merely in court fees but in MBNA charging for their time.

For the record, too, I have had MBNA cards from time to time and my applications offered PPI but you always had to opt in.

I also fail to see how you were unaware you had PPI as it would appear on your statement every month - so claiming you did not know is to claim you are too stupid to read your statements.

Would your credit card be with Egg by any chance ?

Egg changed their online application so that you could not complete it, without saying that you had read and agreed with everything.

Please would anyone know were Egg Credit card using pre populated forms back in 1999? (September specifically)

I have sent a SAR request to them but I am guessing they won't have a record of the original agreement which was online.

I've been lurking on these forums for some time but never posted before, done extensive online searches but not been able to find an answer to this question.

    Thanks in advance

Please ask own your own thread and not another one that is unrelated to your subject. it is not fair on the original poster to have their thread hijacked by someone else asking unrelated questions (hijacking is the internet term for this)
