Yes thanks, I will try CAB. It's not a case of wanting someone else to enforce our rights, it just seems like we don't have any to enforce.

You've mentioned weeks, but what are the precise timescales involved? Exactly how many days since the first request to collect? When were the other requests made?

Worse case scenario, can you order a skip from a different company just for one day, park it on the road (as close to your drive as poss), transfer the stuff from the first skip to the second, have the full skip taken away and then it should be fairly easy to have a few burly blokes drag the skip from the rogue company out onto the road. You can then call the council and report the obstruction.

Send them a letter telling them you consider the skip to be abandoned goods and to consider the letter the first of 2 notices I your intention to dispose of it and pursue them for any additional costs in doing so. If they fail to collect it, send them the second notice.
