I bought a PC from Mesh Computers, it went back to them Return to Base after two years with a significantly different specification than what it was when they sold it to me (but the fault was with a part that they supplied). The fact I'd messed with it myself wasn't an issue at all.

The way it should be, IMO.

Really? To be honest if I had a system returned to me that I built, and someone had opened it, I would send them packing.

People love to open their pc and slot in ram and graphics cards.....'it's just like lego, push and click'.......apart from they have no idea of anti static and fry half the chips on the ram

Lol read my post, the PC was DOA, an I knew the beeps meant a ram problem, and so I changed ram slots and it was fine, besides the PC world staff on the line when I purchased it told me "its perfect to upgrade in future as it has a spare ram slol"

AndI do know about static, I have been using PC's for almost 15 years lol(in fact when I barely was out of primary school)

What im not happy about is they should send round an engineer when its a fault of the hardware, not mine, and why should I take the time and expense to contact a courier, pay them, then claim from PC world to get cash back, when an engineer can be called.

had it been say 4 months after I bought it, no problem, but a BRAND NEW pc, now that is something else.
