We've just scrapped one car in our house, I got yellow pages, rang round a few dealers - ours was a 1995 Astra (but was road worthy) one local dealer offered me £70 and they would collect it, no hassle, no probs.
I ended up driving it to another scrap yard and got £140.
When I had my car wrote off few yrs ago, i just rang up scrap yard they collected - done and dusted.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Not at all sensible.
It's got no road tax and it's not insured
The offered values I saw differed by £10 between collection or taking the car there.
That's a very expensive risk for £10 extra
As well as the fact that it isn't driveable!
Have got it sorted with car take back - thanks for the input everyone0
