No memory card with Nokia N73 = £50 credit from Orange

I recently renegotiated my contract with Orange when it came to the year's end (taking MSE's advice and dealing directly with the Disconnections Department), and received my new *Nokia N73 .

There was no (miniSD) memory card with the phone, even though the manual referred to one being supplied. I spoke to Orange's representatives who said there was a problem with Nokia not putting them in the box for some reason. When I gently suggested that they really should supply a suitable card since it was a listed accessory, they said they would credit my account with £50 instead!

The lady went so far as to say that I could probably pick up a miniSD card for much less than that, so it seems like they have a policy on this, but only if you ask....:rolleyes:

* IMHO A very capable phone with an excellent camera, but over-complicated and with an awkwardly small keypad.
