AOL Broadband

Hi,
We've just sold our house and are in the process of starting to move, I've just called AOL who our broadband and land line is with and they have informed me that if I leave I will have to pay until the end of the contract even though I wont be receiving any services (November this year)
Now, i have ever only signed one contract with AOL and that was in 2008, they are saying that they had a telephone conversation with me back in November 2011 were I signed up for another two years!! I dont remember this call and have never had any documents sent through regarding it
I've asked for a copy of the conversation which they have said they can't provide
Where do I go from here?
