Virgin Media Music on demand

We signed up for Virgin Media M+ which included on demand music I went to use it the other day and it is now charging 29p per day per song and £1.75 per play list per day. I have checked and it is still showing as free on the package (sorry I cant post links)
After calling them up they have told me I'm not the first to complain but if i want to use the feature I will have to pay! I am pretty angry any advice would be great as this is a feature we use a lot.
I hope this isn't posted somewhere else but i couldn't see it!
